Mrs. Ruth Williams

Mrs. Ruth Williams, 79, of Mount Airy, passed away Saturday February 25, 2017 at Central Continuing Care. Mrs. Williams was born in Patrick County on June 23, 1937 to the late Benjamin Harrison Hensley and Bertie Mae Handy Hensley. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Williams is survived by two sons, Rocky Williams and Travis Williams and his fiancée, Rebecca Hastings; a daughter and son-in-law, Connie Williams Greer and husband Steve; and two brothers, Harrison Hensley and Burton Hensley. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ervin Williams; two brothers and one sister. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday March 1, 2017 at Oakdale Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Terry officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday night February 28, 2017 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
