Mrs. Sandra McHone Francis

Mrs. Sandra Delma McHone Francis, age 73, of Pilot Mountain passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Francis was born in Lowell, MA on June 27, 1943, to Robert Worth and Delma Crews McHone. She was a loving homemaker and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Those who will forever cherish her memory are her husband, Ray Francis; a daughter, Sharon Francis; sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Renee Francis, and Tommy and Rita Francis; grandchildren, Lauren Francis, Jordan Francis, John Francis, and Benjamin Francis; and a sister-in-law, Raye McHone. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Francis was preceded in death by brothers, Carl, David, and James McHone. A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM, Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Skyline Memory Gardens by Rev. Roland McCraw and Rev. Alan Branch. The family will receive friends Saturday beginning at noon at Moody Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd., Dobson, NC 27017 or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
