Mrs. Sarah Berrier Palmer

Mrs. Sarah Berrier Palmer, 80, of Mt. Airy, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2017 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital Surrounded by her family. She was born January 8, 1937 to the late William Pearson and Verona Frances Bryant Edwards. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memories are two daughters and sons-in-law; Pamela and Freddy Davis, Amanda and Bradley Hicks, three grandchildren; Nathan Shull and Rebecca Hill, and Gracie Hicks, three great-grandchildren; Jarette and Lovennia Shull, and Joel Hill, five brothers; William Edwards, Danny Edwards, Oral Edwards, Randall Pearson, and Norman Cranford, six sisters; Nancy Simmons Mauldin, Mary Leonard Hewitt, Sylvia Sale, Jana Edwards, Cyndi Cook, Bonnie Carder, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by a son; Terry Dale Shull, a brother Bobby Berrier, and a sister; Virginia Cash Strickland. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday May 7, 2017 at Moody funeral home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Click Dixon. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Missions Baptist Church; 411 Walkertown Guthrie Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
