Mrs. Sheila Ann Campbell Childress

Mrs. Sheila Ann Campbell Childress, age, 70, of Dobson, NC passed away Sunday September 25, 2011 at her home. She was born in Gaston County, NC on March 24, 1941 to the late Nelson and Ceola Kinley Campbell. Surviving are her husband Roger Childress of the home; two sons Joey Shumate of Wilkesboro, Greg Childress of Dobson, one daughter Candie Edwards of Greensboro; five grandchildren Lyndsey Edwards, Matthew Shumate, Kaitlyn Shumate, Andrew Shumate, Nicholas Shumate; two nieces Pam Blevins, and Mary McCune. In addition to her parents she was preceded by one sister Margaret Payne and one brother Robert Eugene Campbell. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday September 28, 2011 in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson with burial to follow in the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in State Road, NC. Rev. Mike Hamby will conduct the service. The family will receive friends at Moody-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Childress family.
