Mrs. Shelby Jean Hawks Delgado

Mrs. Shelby Jean Hawks Delgado Age 69 of 142 Countryside Drive Pilot Mountain, NC. passed away Thursday February 16, 2012 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. Mrs. Delgado was born in Surry county March 21, 1942 to the late Carl Willis and Dora Virginia Lowry Hawks, her passion was working Flea Markets and was best known as owner and operator of Delgado Spanish Video. Mrs. Delgado was also a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are her husband J. Carmen Delgado of the home, one son and daughter-in-law Arlis Gregory Lowry and wife Patricia of Mt. Airy, two grandchildren Travis Lowry and Ashley Lowry both of Mt. Airy one step grandchild Jeffrey Stein of Winston Salem, one sister Janice Hawks Hiatt of Mt Airy and a brother-in-law Bobby O'Neal of Winston Salem. In addition to her parents Mrs. Delgado was preceded in death by one sister Ann Hawks O'Neal and by three brothers James Willis Hawks, Donald Ray Hawks and Bobby Lee Hawks. Funeral services will be held Sunday February 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Eastside Baptist Church with services conducted by Pastor John Tolliver with burial to follow in the Oakdale Cemetery.
