Mrs. Shellie Johnson Franklin

Mrs. Shellie Johnson Franklin, age 96 of Stuart, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart. She was born in Laurens County, Georgia on October 12, 1913 to the late James Ellis and Maggie T. Spivey Johnson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Franklin was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Franklin; two sisters, Edna Smith and Ruth Johnson; and one brother Charles T. Johnson.
Mrs. Franklin is survived by one daughter, Nan McDaniel of Stuart; two sons, Ben Franklin of Stuart and John Franklin of Greensboro, North Carolina; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen Birchill of Dade City, Florida.
