Mrs. Shirley Ann Pike Hawks

Mrs. Shirley Ann Pike Hawks, age 75, of Cana, Va, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Northern Hospital. Mrs. Hawks was born in Surry County on June 3, 1941 to Taylor and Hattie Golden Pike. She was a loving mother and dear friend who will be sorely missed by all her family and many friends. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Grant Caulder; a son, Charles Hawks; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Linda Pike. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hawks was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Claude Hawks; a sister, Mary Rivenbark; and brothers, Jack Pike, Paul Pike, Harvey Pike and Jim Pike. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 13, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Woody Flippen. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday beginning at noon.
