Mrs. Shirley Ann Holder

Mrs. Shirley Ann Sechrist Holder, 72, of Mt. Airy passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017. She was born in Carroll County, VA on October 7, 1944 to the late Ofra and Justeen Gardner Sechrist. Mrs. Holder retired from Renfro and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Angie and Gary Flippin and Lisa and Michael Hawks; grandchildren and spouses, Tia and Matt Goins, Savannah and Danny Rutt and Tanner and Shayla Flippin; sisters, Ardith Barr and Betty Sechrist; and a brother, Mitchell Sechrist. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holder was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Holder; and brothers, Gary, Jim, and Brady “Big Boy” Sechrist. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Grant Atkins and Rev. Bailey Elmore officiating. There will no formal visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial donations be made to Well Food Ministry, Antioch Baptist Church, 137 Antioch Ave., Mt.
