Mrs. Shrenia Irene Edwards Thomas

Mrs. Shrenia Irene Edwards Thomas 86, of Cana, VA passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Pioneer Community Hospital in Stuart, VA. Mrs. Thomas was born on February 9, 1929 in Surry County to the late Cable and Margaret Vaughn Edwards Thomas. Mrs. Thomas is survived by her husband of sixty-eight loving years, Louis Samuel Carrell Thomas of the home; two daughters and son in law, Judy Pack and the late Gaston Pack of Claudville, and Charlotte Pack and Billy of Cana; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, Cable Edwards and Margaret Vaughn Edwards Busick; one daughter, Peggy Thomas Pack; and an infant son. Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Flat Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Keegan officiating. There will not be a formal visitation for Mrs. Thomas.
