Mrs. Stella Combs Sprinkle

Mrs. Stella Combs Sprinkle, age 79 of Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday February 7, 2018, at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 11, 1938 in Wilkes County to the late Rowan Benjamin and Viola Cleary Combs. Mrs. Sprinkle was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a seamstress. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Culbert Craig Sprinkle; her daughter, Leila S. Mayes; and a son, Bill Sprinkle. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Doris S. and Steve Pratt, Iris S. and Dirk Apt, Jackie S. and Richard Collins, Linda S. and Curtis Simpson; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Kathy Sprinkle, Frank Sprinkle, Craig and Norma Sprinkle; grandchildren, Brandon Bauguess, Emily P. (Bradley) Dollyhite, Benjamin (Allie) Pratt, Charley Collins and her fiancé, Kody Hudson; great granddaughters, Brinley Dollyhite and Ellory Dollyhite.; sisters Mae Walker, Almedia Gentry and Vinna Hutchinson; and her brother, Robert Combs. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, February 9, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jeff Wall officiating.
