Mrs. Sue Carol Mauldin

Mrs. Sue Carol Mauldin, 75, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born August 6, 1941 to the late Luther Eugene and Mary Terrell McHone. Mrs. Mauldin retired from Brown Wooten and was a member of Franklin Heights Church. She is survived by her husband, Rex Mauldin; her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Jessie Mauldin; two grandchildren, Chad Mauldin and Deaven Mauldin; two great grandchildren, Jacxon Mauldin and Zayden Draughn; a sister, Kay Sawyers; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Shelia McHone, Terry and Rhonda McHone, Jimmy and Betty McHone and Bill and Judy McHone. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mauldin was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Snow. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Dover Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Jones officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy from 11:00 AM until the time to leave for the service.
