Mrs. Susie Ruth Scott Wright

Mrs. Susie Ruth Scott Wright, loving mother and dedicated housewife, age 72 of Country Kitchen Loop, Stuart passed away Saturday at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was born on Sept. 27, 1935 in Patrick County to the late Robert Lee Scott and Ada Whalen Scott. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Russell Scott. Mrs. Wright attended Buffalo Ridge Church of God of Prophecy and was a bookkeeper for Paul Wright Sawmilling Co.
Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Paul C. Wright of the home; and one son and daughter in law, Delbert and Mary Alma Wright of Stuart.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Revs. Dale Bailey, Mike Varner, Everette Mills, and Garnett Byrd officiating.
