Mrs. Tammy Annette Huff Jenkins

Mrs. Tammy Annette Huff Jenkins, age 52, of Mount Airy, beloved daughter of the late Mary Magdalene “Maggie” Berrier Huff and Henry Lee Huff passed away, Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Surry County on October 22, 1964. Tammy was instantly loved by everyone whom she ever met because of her projected love for others. She was not only a devoted employee of Nester Hosiery, she also considered them part of her family. She will be deeply missed not only by her dear family but also by her many, many friends. Those who will always cherish her memory are her husband, Larry “Buddy” Jenkins; her sister and brother-in-law, Jamie and Joey Martin and their kids, Mason and Ellie; her precious Aunts, Mildred “Mimmie” Shelton, Judy Jarrell and Rachel Hodges and husband Billy; an uncle, James Berrier; a special cousin, Kathy Wilmoth and husband, Ronnie; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Emma Jenkins; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tony and Michelle Jenkins, Tony and Christi Smith, Brian and Whitney Smith and Mindy Tate; nieces, Kayden, Katie, Bailey, Lydia, and Hannah; nephews, Kolby, Kyson, Joshua and Oakley; and many other special cousins, friends and coworkers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 3, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home, by Brian Smith. Burial will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday beginning at noon and at other times at the home of Jamie and Joey at 224 Folly Farms Circle. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
