Mrs. Tecora "Granny T" W. Quesinberry

Mrs. Tecora "Granny T" Williams Quesinberry, age 81 of Stuart passed away Friday at Northern Hospital of Surry County in Mt. Airy, NC. She was born on April 7, 1929 in Patrick County to the late John Preston Williams and Gracie Rorrer Williams. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman C. Quesinberry; a son, Timmy Quesinberry; two sisters, Juanita Betsy "Betty" Rogers, Bernice Shaffer; and three brothers, Jimmy Lee Williams, Robert Burns "Bob" Williams, and John Lester Allen "Buck" Williams. She was the owner/operator of Tee's Beauty Salon for over 50 years and babysat many children. She was a longtime member of Stuart Baptist Church and a charter member of New Life Community Fellowship Church.
Surviving are a son, Jimmy Quesinberry of Stuart; one granddaughter, Maigan Hodges; two great grandchildren, Dylan Lane Quesinberry, Nathan Wayne Hodges; three sisters, Mary Fern Baldwin of Hillsville, India "Dot" Haynes of Mt. Airy, NC, Gennell Williams of Fieldale; and two brothers, Frank D. Williams of Sparta, NC, and Joel "Pat" Williams of State Road, NC.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Jim Churchwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Stuart Cemetery.
