Mrs. Tensie Lee Gammons

Mrs. Tensie Lee Gammons, 64, of King passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Universal HealthCare in King. She was born January 28, 1954 to the late Samuel Jack and Alva Mae Willard Johnson. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will surely be missed by all who knew her. Left to cherish her memories are a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Shane Worth; a son and daughter-in-law, Donnie Gammons Jr. and wife Amanda; three grandchildren, Brittany Lee Worth, Amanda Nichole Worth and Mason Dale Gammons; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Lawson, Gail and Edward Yates, Barbara and Donald Beasley, Mavis Holt, Melinda and Timothy Shinault; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Herbert and Sandy Johnson, and Wayne Johnson. In addition to her parents Mrs. Gammons was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Gammons Sr., infant son, Derrick Gammons; three brothers, Ronnie, Freddie, and Dale Johnson. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Southside Baptist Church with services conducted by Rev. Don Fellows, and Rev. Tim Gammons. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until time for the service at Southside Baptist Church.
