Mrs. Thelma Juanita Nunn Martin

Mrs. Thelma Juanita Nunn Martin Age 64 of Pond Rd. Ararat, VA. wife of Mr. Henry E. Martin passed away Thursday December 26, 2007 at the Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mrs. Martin was born December 4, 1943 in Patrick County to the late Roy and Lucy Gammons Nunn and was employed in the Textile Industry. Surviving are her husband Henry E. Martin of the home, four daughters and sons-in-law Robin and Don Lawless of Ararat, Wendy and Roger Corvin of King, Tammy Chappelear of Ararat and Donna and Carlis Bowman of Ararat, one step son Ricky E. Martin of Danville, grandchildren Amber Lawless, Angel Lawless, Harley Lawless, Jessica Corvin, Amanda Smith, Brittany Robertson, Kacie Chappelear, Brent Martin, Tony Martin and Ashley Martin, three great grandchildren Morgan Smith, Madison Smith and Mason Smith, three sisters Othel Goins, Doris Williams and Annie Mae Goad all of Mt. Airy and by one brother Roy Lewis Nunn of Mt. Airy. In addition to her parents Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by a brother Ray Nunn. A memorial service will be held Saturday December 29, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel with services conducted by Rev. Billy Thomas and Mr. Mark Lawless. The family will receive friends Friday night 7 to 9 P.M. at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
