Mrs. Thelma Lee Senter Morris

Mrs. Thelma Lee Senter Morris, age 79 of Mt. Airy passed away at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson on Sunday, February 5, 2012. Mrs. Morris was born in Patrick County, VA on June 9, 1932 to the late William Carelus and Mary Bell Hiatt Senter. Mrs. Morris is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lynn and Jim Gentry of Mt. Airy; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Benton Roy and Bonnie Butcher of Mt. Airy and David Morris of the home; grandchildren and spouses, Megan Gentry, Misty Dawn and Dustin Karriker, April Lee and Brian Badgett and Crystal Dawn Hall; six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by four brothers. A memorial service will be conducted at 5:00 PM on February 7, 2012 at Moody Funeral Home by Rev. Zane Fishel.
