Mrs. Verna Beatrice Bullins Clodfelter

Mrs. Verna Beatrice Bullins Clodfelter, age 74, of Mt. Airy, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Clodfelter was born in Galax, VA on September 6, 1941, to Steve and Mary Warfe Bullns. She was a homemaker who will be dearly missed by her devoted family and many friends. Surviving are a daughter, Tammy Smith; sons and daughters-in-law, Melvin and Lynn Clodfelter, Richard and Loretta Clodfelter, Michael and Mellnee Clodfelter, Jeffrey Clodfelter and Randy Clodfelter; nine grandchildren; Dawn and Kevin Upchurch, Shane Clodfelter, Derrick and Lynn Clodfelter, James Dean Sawyers, Steven and Katie Clodfelter, Jeffrey Clodfelter and Christy, Adam Clodfelter, Misty Clodfelter and Amber Clodfelter, 12 great grandchildren, two sisters and brother-in-law Myrtle and Bob Bowen and Patsy Ann Hawks and by two brothers Victor Bullins and Garfield Austin. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Clodfelter was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Junior Clodfelter and a sister Velma Bullins. Funeral services will be held Thursday January 21, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel with services conducted by John Tolliver with burial to will follow in Peoples Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday night 6 to 8 P.M. at the Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy, NC.
