Mrs. Virginia Lucille Fortner Harrison

Mrs. Lucille Virginia Fortner Harrison, age 74, of Dobson, NC passed away on Tuesday morning October 29, 2013 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Grayson Co. Virginia, on February 1, 1939 to the late Clyde and Vestal Hice Fortner, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 Years Jesse Grover Harrison; two daughters Brenda Gail Harrison, Sharon Kaye Harrison; three sisters and one brother. Lucille was a Homemaker and worked on the family farm. She was a member of Gospel View Baptist Church. Surviving are her loving children and grandchildren and great grandchildren; three daughters and sons-in-law Lynn and Ricky Pratt of Ararat, NC, Karen and Dr. Zachary Sizemore of Concord, NC, Becky Harrison and Darrell Slate of Dobson; two sons and daughter-in-law Danny and Donna Harrison of Dobson, Grover Lee Harrison and fiancé Jeannie Widner of Dobson; nine grandchildren Ann Shumate, Daniel Harrison, Cheyenne Harrison, Matthew Pratt, Derek Sizemore, Tyler Sizemore, Chelsea Sizemore, Jessica Darnell, Kellie Bauguess; by seven great-grandchildren Anthony Shumate, Trent Shumate, Dreven Harrison, Trinity Harrison, Haylee Moore, Reagan Lynn Sizemore, Briggs Darnell, and two on the way; by one sister. Funeral services will be held Thursday October 31, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home in Dobson with burial in the Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Zachery Sizemore, Rev. Jerry Sizemore and Rev. Jason Johnson will conduct the services. The Family will receive friends on Wednesday at Moody-Davis Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
