Mrs. Virginia Shelor Puckett

Mrs. Virginia Shelor Puckett, age 89, of Stuart passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015 at the Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. She was born on June 3, 1926 in Stokes County, NC to the late Emmit Shelor and Annie Slate Shelor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Puckett; and a sister, Edith Hall. She retired from Stuart Elementary school where she had worked in the cafeteria. She was a member of Collinstown Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Larry “L.P.” and Ann Puckett of Stuart; two step grandchildren, Jason Fix and wife, Amy, Meredith Terrell and husband, Shae; three step great grandchildren, MaKayla Fix, Daniel Terrell, and Savannah Terrell.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastors Shaun Draughn and Tracey Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Patrick Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
