Mrs. Virginia W. Dalton Trent

Mrs. Virginia W. Dalton Trent, age 75 of Patrick Springs, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County on October 19, 1933 to the late Charlie and Lillie Mae Shelton Wagoner. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Trent was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Haley Dalton; one son, Steve Dalton; five brothers, Percy, Robert, Clarence, Banner and Jack Wagoner; and one sister, Ruth Pilson.
Mrs. Trent is survived by her husband, Aaron Gene Trent of Patrick Springs; two sons, Teddy Dalton of Bassett and James Dale Dalton of Patrick Springs; one daughter, Laverne Schlueter of Key West, Florida; one step-son, Tony Trent; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one step-grandson; and two sisters, Olene Taylor of Lynchburg and Quincy Mason of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Funeral services for Mrs. Trent will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial will follow in Patrick Memorial Gardens.
