Mrs. Vivian Light Helms

Mrs. Vivian Light Helms, 87 of Stuart, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 8, 2013. She was born in Patrick County on October 24, 1925 to the late Clifford Eugene Light and Vergie Clifton Light. Her husband, John D. Helms and a sister, Donice Jean Light Conner, also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Helms is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Jo Helms Cline and husband, Dean of Ridgeway, VA; a son and daughter-in-law, John David Helms and wife, Nancy of Stuart, VA; a granddaughter, Laura Bowles and husband, Tom Laub of Martinsville, VA; a brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Ellen Light of Stuart, VA; a brother-in-law, Aubrey Conner of Christiansburg, VA; one niece and two nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Helms will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Rev. Jim Churchwell officiating. Entombment will follow in the Bassett Family Cemetery Mausoleum in Bassett, VA. The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
