Mrs. Vivian Maxine "V" Smith Mossor

Mrs. Vivian Maxine "V" Smith Mossor, 86 of Mt. Airy formerly of Bethel Park, PA and N. Ft. Myers, FL passed away at Ridgecrest Retirement and Assisted Living on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Mrs. Mossor was born in Upshur County, WVA on June 25, 1926 to the late Horner A. and Elsie Marie Paugh Smith. She was a homemaker and attended Central United Methodist Church. Mrs. Mossor is survived by her husband, Roy Glenn Mossor of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer Jill and Paul Bowlsby and Suzanne Lynn Mossor all of Ft. Myers, FL, and Leah and Jeff Tunstall of Mt. Airy; son and daughter-in-law, Philip John and Doris Mossor of Radcliffe, KY; grandchildren and spouses, Thomas Flickinger, Mike and Stephanie Flickinger, Ralf Flickinger Mossor, Scott and Amanda Harigan, Kaitlyn Tunstall, Amber Mossor, Courtney Tunstall, Kelsey Tunstall, Anne-Louise Tunstall; great-grandchildren, Traigh Harigan, Christine Birch and husband, Shawn, Tyler Flickinger, Colby Flickinger, Devin Flickinger and one great-great grandchild, Adler Thomas Birch; a brother, Clifford W. Smith of Grafton, OH and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mossor was preceded in death by brother, Denver Guy Smith and an infant brother. The family will receive friends at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy on Monday, August 13, 2012 starting at 10:00 AM, followed with a funeral service at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Jim Pyatt and the Rev. John Ferree officiating. Funeral services will be conducted in Harrisville, WVA on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 1:00 PM at McCullough-Rogers and Raiguel Funeral Home Chapel in Harrisville, WVA with Rev. Connie Mossor officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
