Mrs. Wanda Faye Leftwich Poore

Mrs. Wanda Faye Leftwich Poore, 67 of Cana, VA passed away at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Surry County on February 22, 1948 to the late Rawdon Henry and Ethel Hall Leftwich. Mrs. Poore was a dedicated member of Paul's Creek Baptist Church for many years. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her visits and Sunday lunches at Aunt Ruth's with her family and all the cousins, especially Glenda. In addition to these, Mrs. Poore is survived by her much loved daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Robert Kaufman; her adored grandchildren, Hannah Kaufman and Joshua Kaufman; sisters and brother-in-law, Julie and Jim Arnold and Cathy Gilliam; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Brenda Leftwich, Greg Leftwich and Patricia Hopkins, Scott and Kim Leftwich, Blake and Kris Leftwich and Ray and Debbie Heflin; aunt, Bernice Hawks; Beulah Shinault "BFF" and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Poore was preceded in death by her husband, Rayton "Ray" Poore, her step mother, Frances Draughn Leftwich; brothers, infant Bobby Joe Leftwich and Danny Leftwich. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Paul's Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Justin McCreary officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
