Mrs. Waneta Maxine Gray Inscore

Mrs. Waneta Maxine Gray Inscore, 90, of Ararat, VA passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center in Galax, VA. She was born in Arcola, West Virginia on January 26, 1923 to the late, Edwin and Delores Swisher Gray. Mrs. Inscore was retired from Spencer's Incorporated and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by a son, William "Bill" Inscore of Sparta; a daughter-in-law, Linda Inscore of Ararat, VA; grandchildren and spouse, Dwayne Hiatt, Ronald D. and Tonya Inscore all of Ararat, VA, Jennifer Inscore of Roanoke, VA; a sister, Audrey G. Holt of Stuart, VA; a sister-in-law, Maxine A. Wright of West Melbourne, FL.; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Inscore was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Inscore; two daughters, Jacqueline Hiatt, and Helen Scott; two sons, Donald Grayson Inscore and Robert "Bobby" Inscore; a brother, Edsel Gray. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Oakdale Cemetery with Rev. Dean Eaton officiating. There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home.
