Mrs. Wilda Mae Kirkman Tolbert

Mrs. Wilda Mae Kirkman Tolbert, 85, of Mount Airy, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. She was born May 27, 1932 to the late Archie and Reba Summerlin Kirkman. Mrs. Tolbert was retired from Renfro, and was of the Christian faith. She is survived by foster children, Michelle Goings of Mt. Airy, and Mitchell Poole of McCleansville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tolbert was preceded in death by her husband, Swanson Tolbert,; a sister, Vivian Esther Kirkman,; a brother, Spencer Franklin Kirkman. A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Midkiff Family Cemetery. There will not be a formal visitation at the funeral home. Moody Funeral Home in Mt.
