Mrs. Yvonne Goins Snow

Mrs. Ellen Yvonne Goins Snow, age 75, passed away May 7, 2016 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Surry County on January 26, 1941 to the late John A. Goins and Mary J. Goins. Mrs. Snow is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda Barber and husband Brad; three sons and daughters-in-law, John Snow and wife Julie, Gene Snow and wife Patty, and Michael Snow; seven grandchildren, Amanda Howard, Jared Snow, Daniel Snow, Sam Snow, Charles Snow, Kelsey Snow, and Kenneth Snow; a great-granddaughter, Destiny Howard; siblings, Faye Goins Tutterow, Kenneth Goins and sister-in-law Faye Goins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snow was preceded in death by a grandchild, Robbie Howard; four sisters, Louise Minton, Elsie Mabe, Irene Adkins, and Margaret Goins; three brothers, J. W. Goins, Cecil Goins, and Dale Goins. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy at 3:30 PM with burial to follow in the Flower Gap Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:30 – 3:30 PM at the funeral home.
