Ms. Ada Walker Lawson

Ms. Ada Walker Lawson, age 73, of Stuart passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Blue Ridge Nursing Center in Stuart. She was born in Patrick County to the late Grady Walker and Birdie Rorrer Walker. Ms Lawson was also preceded in death by five brothers; Troy, Curtis, Fred, Garland and Gordon Walker, and a grandson, Bobby Wayne Lawson. She was retired from United Elastic.
Ms. Lawson is survived by her son, Bobby O. Lawson of Stuart, two grand-daughters, Kelley Lawson and Melissa Sessor also of Stuart, four sisters; Lacy Mays of Martinsville, Nannie Rakes of Collinsville, Sally Pendleton and Ellen Griffith of Stuart, two brothers; Milton Walker of Walnut Cove, NC and Dick Walker of Bassett.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 2:00PM at Sycamore Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Gerald Melton officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 till 1:30PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.moodyfuneralservices.com.
