Ms. Barbara Ann Lyons Schroeder

Ms. Barbara Ann Lyons Schroeder, 59, of Lowgap, NC passed away January 20, 2018 at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born in Surry County on August 17, 1958 to Ted Lyons and the late Marie Wall Lyons. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Kendahl Schroeder; Barbara’s father, Ted Lyons and wife, Joan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and J.D. Ayers and Anita and Erik Miller; and a brother, Eddie Lyons; special aunts and uncles; and numerous nieces; nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at Bear Trail Baptist Church at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 with Rev. Tim Crotts and Scotty Bullins officiating. Burial will follow in the Worrell Family Cemetery in Laurel Fork, VA. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.
