Ms. Bernice Nichols Prillaman

Ms. Bernice Nichols Prillaman, 69 of Stuart, passed away Saturday morning at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born July 16, 1940 in Patrick County to the late Euel Lester and Maggie Chaney Nichols and was also preceded in death by two brothers; Layton and Milton Nichols. Ms. Prillaman was of the Brethren Faith and had retired as a data processor for Home Health Care Associates.
Ms. Prillaman is survived by a son; Mr. Danny Lee Prillaman of Martinsville, a daughter; Mrs. Darlene Shelton of Stuart, two grandchildren, one step grandchild, one great granddaughter, and two sisters; Mrs. Louise Colletti of Bassett and Mrs. Era Mae Rakes of Henry, Va.
Funeral services for Ms. Prillaman will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with the Pastor Mike Varner officiating. Burial will be in the Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home and other times at her daughter's home at 18 Fairy Drive, Stuart, Va.
