Ms. Bettie Clifton Deal

Ms. Bettie Clifton Deal, age 68 of Stuart, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at her home. She was born in Patrick County on October 2, 1941 to the late George and Rosie Hughes Clifton. In addition to her parents, Ms. Deal was preceded in death by one son, Larry Lovelace; one grandson, Brandon Dillon; one granddaughter, Katherine Rose Lovelace; one sister, Ethel Agee; and four brothers, Dillard, James, Eugene and Richard Clifton.
Ms. Deal is survived by one daughter, Sandra Lovelace of Patrick Springs; one son, Jeffrey Richards of Bland; three grandchildren, Patricia Martin, Shannon Brumage and Krystle Brumage; one great-grandchild, Caleb Martin; two brothers, Vance Clifton of Ridgeway and Jerry Clifton of Stoneville, North Carolina; and one sister, Minnie Cassell of Bassett.
Funeral services for Ms. Deal will be held Thursday, February 4, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial will follow in the Adams Family Cemetery.
