Ms. Betty Ann Wood

Ms. Betty Ann Wood, age 77 of Pahokee Fl. Formerly of Surry County passed away on Sunday July 20, 2008. She was born in Surry County on August 9, 1930 to the late Walter E. Wood and the late Mamie A. Poteat Wood. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Vivian Nesseth. She was a retired Nurse. Surviving are her sister Frances Wood Jones of Mt. Airy; one brother John Walter Wood of Dobson.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday July 25, 2008 at Dayspring Baptist Chapel with burial to follow in the Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Roger Pickett will conduct the service. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1:30 until time of the service at 2:00 PM.
