Ms. Brenda Kay Coleman Swisher

Ms. Brenda Kay Coleman Swisher age 60, of Stuart, Virginia passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Patrick County on December 24, 1954 to the late Robert Leonard Coleman and Barbara Ella Hughes Coleman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Coleman. Kay was of the Baptist faith.

Ms. Swisher is survived by nine siblings and their spouses, Janet Martin and husband, Lou of Kannapolis, NC, Sammy Coleman of Spencer, VA, Faye Fain and husband, Lowell of Dry Pond, VA, Whitey Coleman and wife, Mary Ann of Fieldale, VA, Judy Murphy and husband, David of Martinsville, VA, Jean Bowman and husband, Harry Lee of Ararat, VA, Jimmy Coleman and wife, Karen of Sandy Ridge, NC. Gail Martin and husband, Tony of Greensboro, NC and Jeffery Coleman and wife, Julie of Sandy Ridge, NC; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Kenny.
Funeral services for Ms. Swisher will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart with Pastor David Cuthbertson officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
