Ms. Carlene Hubbard Pilson

Ms. Carlene Hubbard Pilson, age 85 of Stuart passed away Sunday, January 13, 2008 at the RJ Reynolds Patrick County Memorial Hospital in Stuart. She was born on December 10, 1922 to the late Charlie and Inez Haden Hubbard. In addition to her parents, Ms. Pilson was preceded in death by a sister, Reva Foley. She had worked at the United Elastic Corporation, and was of the Primitive Baptist faith.
Ms. Pilson is survived by two sons, Ralph Pilson, Jr. of Woolwine and Lawrence Pilson of Stuart; two grandchildren, Christy Stowe and Karen Bocock, both of Stuart; five great-grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Earlene and Cubert Handy of Woolwine and Shirley and William Fanning of Stuart; and one brother and sister-in-law, Sherman and Phyllis Hubbard of Stuart.
A graveside service for Ms. Pilson will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Jack's Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jim Churchwell officiating.
