Ms. Carline E. Koger

Ms. Carline Esther Koger, age 93 of Patrick Springs passed away Sunday at the Blue Ridge Nursing Home in Stuart. She was born on Nov. 20, 1916 in Patrick County to the late Samuel D. Koger and Lillie Allen Koger. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a sister, Louise V. Koger; and two brothers, Curtis and Eugene Koger. She was a retired Major with the US Army where she served as a Nurse.
Surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Koger of Patrick Springs, Christine Koger of Martinsville; two brothers, Rieves and Allen Koger both of Patrick Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Patrick Memorial Gardens with Elder John Wingfield and Rev. Wayne Hannah officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until time to proceed to cemetery at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart.
