Ms. Cindy Busick Collins

Ms. Cynthia Yvette Busick Collins, age 48, of Mt. Airy, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at her home. Ms. Collins was born in Surry County on June 26, 1968 to Jeanette Mayes Cranfill and the late Charles Samuel Busick. She was a loving soul mate, mother, sister and dear friend to so many. She will be sorely missed. Cindy was very active in Disaster Relief efforts, volunteering anytime there was a need. Those who will always cherish her memory are her fiancé Mike Hancock; a son, Cory Collins and fiancée Amber Butcher; on the way is her precious grandson, Elijah; her mother, Jeanette M. Cranfill; a sister, Katrina Gomez; a brother, Kevin Busick; several aunts, uncles and special nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Cindy was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Busick and a brother, Charles Busick. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 15, 2017, at Flat Ridge Baptist Church by Rev. Dennis Bledsoe. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday at Moody Funeral Home beginning at noon.
