Ms. Deborah Fran Wright Chilton, 63, of Mount Airy passed away peacefully on Monday, September 2, 2013 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Surry County on July 19, 1950 to Rachel Frans Wright and the late Kenneth Wright. She was a former teacher for the Surry County School System and a member of Simmons Grove Baptist Church. She also owned and operated the Video Stop in Pilot Mountain. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Clint Eric Chilton and wife Brandy of Mount Airy, Stephanie Chilton Wilkins and husband David of Siloam and Meredith Fran Chilton of Pilot Mountain; the father of her children, Clinton Chilton; her dear mother, Rachel Frans Wright of Westfield; four grandchildren, Regan Chilton, Cadence Wilkins, Caylee Wilkins and Trae Flippen; a sister, Donna Wright Wood and husband Bobby of Trinity; two nephews, Nicholas Wood and wife Ashley of Mount Holly and Jordan Wood of Trinity; the love of her life, Bill Sechrist of Pilot Mountain and her dear friend, Judy Stephens of Pilot Mountain. A private graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 2, 2013 at Westfield Baptist Church cemetery by Rev. Dale Riddle.
