Ms. Diane Farris Key

Ms. Diane Farris Key, age 50, of Cana, VA, passed away Tuesday April 5, 2016, at her home. She was born in Surry County on June 10, 1965, to Joy Lee Marion Goad and the late Jimmy Farris. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Ms. Key is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shaska Key Hill and husband Brandon; a son and daughter-in-law, Rusty Farris and wife Tiffany; grandchildren, Addison Hill, Kaiden Carter, Blake Whaley and Jace Farris; a sister, Dawn Payne; a brother, Darrell Farris; and special friends, Pearl and Johnny Singletary. In addition to her father, Ms. Key was preceded in death by a brother, David Farris. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Anthony Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in the Edwards Family Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday beginning at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moody Funeral Services, Inc., PO Box 1288, Mt.
