Ms. Glenda Tilley Foster

Ms. Glenda Tilley Foster, age 68, of Winston Salem, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016, at her daughter’s home. Ms. Foster was born in Surry County on June 10, 1947, to Ruby Gwyn Tilley and the late Elmer Gray Tilley. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends. Glenda was deeply loved by everyone who knew her. Ms. Foster was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Misti P. and Marty Dozier and Cristi P. and Kyle Samuels; step sons, Dean Pyles and Kevin Pyles and wife Derina; grandchildren, Alicia Nixon, Austin Nixon, Andrew Dozier, Matthew Dozier, Kasey Dozier and wife Rachel, Christian Samuels, and Kendra Samuels; a great grandson, Kason Dozier; her mother, Ruby Gwyn Tilley; and brothers, Mickey Tilley and Junior Tilley. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Kyle Samuels. Burial will follow in Little Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice at 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
