Ms. Gwyn Branch Austin

Ms. Gwyn Stacie Branch Austin, age 65, of Mount Airy, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017, at the Woltz Hospice Home. Ms. Austin was born in Surry County on November 8, 1951 to James Thomas Branch and Virginia Gwyn Branch Goad. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Surviving is her dear son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Julie Robinson; her precious grandchildren, Zach Walker and Ava Skylar Robinson; a sister, Regina Crabb; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry Branch, Lawrence Branch, Mark and Debbie Branch, Nelson and Robin Branch, and Joe and Kim Branch. In addition to her parents, Ms. Austin was preceded in death by a brother, Billy James Branch, her step father, Clarence Goad, and her grandmother, Margie Goad. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 20, 2017 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
