Ms. Jan C. Hill

Ms. Jan C. Hill, 64, of Lowgap, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born in Surry County on June 30, 1953 to the late Raymond and Lena Snow Cockerham. She is survived by fiancé, Roger Tolbert; her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Randall Hole; grandchildren, Emory and Rylee Hole; sister, Ramona Wright; and a brother Graylyn Cockerham. In addition to her parents, Ms. Hill was preceded in death by a sister Tona Shockley. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Austin Caviness officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Fork Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2:00 until the time for the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions may be made to Moody Funeral Services, P.O. Box 1288, Mt. Airy, NC 27030 to assist the family with the funeral expenses.
