Ms. Jennifer Shannon Woodring

Ms. Jennifer Shannon Woodring, age 41, of Dobson passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Forsyth County on March 27, 1975 to Dennis Carl Woodring and Cathy Woodring Snow. Ms. Woodring was a Certified Nursing Assistant being employed by Senior Quality Care and was a member of Fairview Church of Christ. She had a great passion for helping others and will be dearly missed by her family and many dear friends. Survivors include her parents; Dennis Carl and Karen Woodring and Cathy Woodring Snow; a daughter, Carla Renee’ Woodring; her precious grandchild, Brielle Grace Jones; her paternal grandmother, Ruth Snow; one sisters, Melissa Woodring Jessup and husband Todd; a special niece and nephew, Keira Marie Jessup and Landon Gage Jessup; her fiancée, Chris Venable; numerous special close friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Wade D. Snow; paternal grandparents, Carl and Gladys Woodring; an uncle, Jerry Dee Snow and a grandson, Aiden Wade Snider. A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Fairview Church of Christ cemetery by Brother Rick Whitley with burial to follow. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 1:30 until time of the service.
