Ms. Judith Rebecca Baker Fields

Ms. Judith Rebecca Baker Fields, 71, of Jonesville passed away on Monday, July 9, 2013 at Brookside Nursing Facility. She was born in Surry County on July 1, 1942 to the late Hilbert and Helen Draughn Baker. She as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Her survivors include four sons, Timothy and wife Catherine Thompson of Mountain Park, Todd and wife Denna Thompson of Dobson, Travis Thompson of Boonville and Toby Thompson also of Boonville; her beloved grandchildren, T.J. Thompson, Jake Thompson, Carson White, Bailey Thompson and Aaron Haynes; two great-grandsons, Jaron Haynes and Hunter Plowman; a sister, Juanita Baker St John of Jonesville; a brother and sister-in-law, Buddy and Annette Baker of Elkin; a very special niece and caregiver, Melinda St John of Jonesville and several other nieces, and great-nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Snow Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Johnson and Rev. Bill Jenkins. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Judith Baker Fields Funeral Fund c/o Moody-Davis Funeral Home P.O. Box 295 Dobson, NC 27017 to assist with funeral expenses.
