Ms. Judy Kay Noah Boyles, age 61, of Pilot Mountain, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015, at her home. Ms. Boyles was born in Surry County on September 13, 1953 to Lee Roland and Lola Marie Smith Noah. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all her family and many friends. Ms. Boyles was a member of The Peoples Church. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Shasta B. and James Gilley, II; Alicia Pack Boyles, Teresa B. and Ben McHone; a son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Murry Boyles; grandchildren, Katie Grove, Caleb Grove, Mackenzie Boyles, Kayla Meadows, Amanda Meadows, Tripp Gilley, Jadee Gilley, Jordan Bailey and Noah McHone; a great granddaughter, Scarlette Elizabeth Bailey; a long-time companion, Norwood Selby; a brother, Cecil Noah, the father of her children, Glenn I. Boyles; several nieces and nephews as well as a special niece, Debbie Woods. In addition to her parents, Ms. Boyles was preceded in death by sisters, Angela Marie Noah, Shirley N. Pack and Patricia Pike and a brother, Fred Noah. A celebration of Ms. Boyles life will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at The Peoples Church by Rev. Eugene Brinkley and James Gilley II. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care at 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
