Ms. Lee Hampton Godwin

Ms. Lee Hampton Godwin, age 64 of Woolwine, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at her home. She was born in Guilford County, North Carolina on September 11, 1946 to the late Walter Glenn Hampton and Edith Caudell Hampton. She was a retired registered nurse from Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Ms. Godwin is survived by a host of special friends and her church family.
Funeral services for Ms. Godwin will be held Monday, February 14, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Sycamore Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Melton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. If desired, memorials may be made to Sycamore Baptist church Cemetery Fund, c/o Nancy Midkiff, Treasurer, 179 Sycamore Church Lane, Stuart, Virginia 24171.
