Ms. Mae Harris

Ms. Mae Harris, age 100 of Radford and formerly of Meadows of Dan passed away Saturday at New River Valley Hospital in Radford. She was born on Dec. 17, 1908 to the late George and Sallie Scott Harris. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by four sisters, Cassie Belle Harris, Ida H. Lawless, Pearl H. Hall, Lillian H. Milner; and two brothers, Dewey Harris and Lawrence Harris.
Surviving are a brother, Warren G. Harris of Pulaski; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Pastor Dewayne Troutt officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadows of Dan Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one prior to the service at the funeral home.
