Ms. Mary Jane Hylton

Ms. Mary Jane Hylton, age 46 of Bassett, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at her home. She was born in Patrick County on September 4, 1966, and was a 1985 graduate of Patrick County High School. She attended Faith Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elizabeth Quiroz.
Ms. Hylton is survived by one daughter, Shannon Jenkins of Woolwine; one son, J.T. Jenkins of Bassett; two grandchildren, Hayleigh Jenkins and Jaylan Younger; her mother, Carolyn Hall of Stuart; her father, Clyde Hylton of Bassett; and one brother, Mark Hylton and his wife, Chau Kim Lai of Rocky Mount.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hylton will be held Friday at 12:00 noon at Conner's View Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Edward Bowman and Pastor Robert Cravatt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church, and at other times at the home.
