Ms. Peggy Sprinkle

Ms. Peggy Jo Sprinkle, 73 of Mt. Airy passed away at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in Dobson. She was born in Surry County on July 18, 1938 to the late Melton Raymond and Lucy Mae Nations Sprinkle. Ms. Sprinkle was retired from Kentucky Derby Hosiery Mills and a member of Laurel Springs Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Ms. Sprinkle was predceded in death by two brothers, Raymond Powers Sprinkle and Isaac Doss Sprinkle. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 20, 2012 at Laurel Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Blaine Oakley officiating. Burial will follow in Mulberry Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church.
