Robin Heald Cox died following a valiant fight with cancer at Sentara Leigh Hospital on March 10, 2018 in Norfolk, Virginia at the age of 61. Robin is survived by her significant other, Paul Carder of Chesapeake, VA; her daughter, Crystal Cox-Hall of Norfolk, VA; her grandchildren, Sophia Ilsa and Marlon Maxwell of Norfolk, VA; her sister, Roslyn Reeves of Mt. Airy, NC; her nieces, Louisa Smith and Jamie King of Mt. Airy, NC; and her grand-nephews, Brian Bennett, John Bennett, Franklin Bennett and Hunter Largen of Mt. Airy, NC. She is preceded in death by her parents. Robin was born on September 26, 1956 in Atlanta, Georgia to John and Marion Heald. She graduated from Mt. Airy High School in 1974. She worked at her family owned restaurant C’est Cheese for many years. After moving to Virginia Beach, VA in 1990, Robin began working for United Property Associates in the Accounting Department. She next joined Bell Nursery. She was a witty and dedicated individual who simply adored her work and work family with Bell Nursery and the Home Depot.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Unity Renaissance in Chesapeake, VA. All are welcome to attend.
