Ms. Sandra Smart Spangler

Ms. Sandra Smart Spangler, age 56 of Stuart, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016. She was born in Henry County on January 26, 1960 to the late Leon Smart and Shirley Turner Smart Moore. She was a member of Elamsville Primitive Baptist Church and was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved her family, friends and her God.

Ms. Spangler is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Renee Spangler of Stuart; a daughter and son-in-law, Mia and Wally Anglin of Hardy; two grandsons, David and Everett Anglin; a step-grandson, Michael Harbour; her step-mother, Velda Smart of Woolwine; four siblings, Pamela Young of Ararat, Michael Smart of Kernersville, North Carolina, Kim Smart of Martinsville and Bobby Foster of Patrick Springs; two step-brothers, Rodney Boyd of Henry County, and Gerald Boyd of Woolwine; several nieces and nephews; and the father of her children, John David Spangler of Stuart.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home in Stuart with Elder David Minter officiating. Burial will follow in the Turner Family Cemetery.
